The Challenge. CT Global upgraded and migrated an installation of SAS Activity-Based Management to the latest version called SAS Cost and Profitability Management. This software supported a global cost reporting solution for a not-for-profit financial institution. Once this was completed, the client turned its attention to establishing a stable environment for the cost reporting solution and to address inefficiencies in the modeling processes.
The Solution. CT Global addressed these objectives with technical and model enhancement services. The first objective of these services was to provide SAS Platform support for three environments, resolve ad hoc technical issues, and make minor changes as needed to data and model processes. A second objective was to address larger inefficiencies in the modeling processes such as eliminate unallocated expenses and bring allocations processed outside the model into the model itself. The outcome of this work was to ensure quality and timely reports were received consistently by business users.
