The Challenge. CT Global’s client’s goal was to provide the highest possible gaming and player experience to its more than two million patrons. The casino was making new investments and growing rapidly. The challenge was to centralize the use of Excel spreadsheets used for planning and measurement of financial performance. The current process was largely manual and very time consuming, data was not controlled, a workflow process was lacking, and preparation and distribution of the daily operating reports, biggest winners and losers and other reports was slow and time consuming.
The Solution. The Excel-based process was replaced with SAS Financial Management. The new solution improved workflow, allowed the timely distribution of daily and other reports, was fully auditable, allowed centralized control and immediate rollout of changes. There was also substantial time savings for the people who consolidated the Excel files.
